SQL Database Administrator

Responsibilities Includes:

Expertise in Database Administration on Production Servers with server configuration, performance tuning and maintenance with outstanding troubleshooting capabilities.
Expertise in T-SQL writing stored procedures, triggers and functions.
Expert in data transformation services like SSIS, DTS, BCP and Bulk Insert.
Expertise in Database backup and disaster recovery models.

Implemented the new SQL Server 2012 concepts like Snap shot isolation, database mirroring, database snapshot, DDL triggers, try-cache blocks, online indexing, security with principals and securable etc.

Experience in using DMV and dynamic management functions for finding out long running queries.
Worked extensively on Clustering and server consolidation. 7.Troubleshooting production issues and raising high availability. Disaster Recovery Planning and Security Management. Worked on Replication and Log shipping for SQL Server High Availability
Hands on experience in configuring Database Mirroring , Log Shipping ,Replication, Clustering Always On and Ensuring High Availability to the databases by testing the fail over. Including Always On configuration which is supported only in SQL 2012 and 24 X 7 Production Database on Call Support

Minimum Requirements:

Around 5 – 6 years of experience in Database Administration and Developer for very large and complex databases in SQL Server 2008 and SQL Server 2012/2014.
